At Woodside School we are delighted to be able to offer a broad range of musical instrument learning opportunities for our pupils, in addition to their usual class music lessons. Instrument lessons are organised via Amersham Music Centre, part of Buckinghamshire Learning Music Trust, and led by specialist teachers who teach weekly lessons.
If you are interested in your son/daughter taking up a musical instrument, there are details available on Buckinghamshire Learning Music Trust website (details below).
Please complete the attached parent billing application form for students. These can be completed and returned directly to Amersham Music Centre, or to Miss Richer at Woodside School, who will pass them on to Buckinghamshire Learning Music Trust.
Opportunities also exist for musicians to join ensembles run by Amersham Music Centre, who run regular open mornings. Please see the attached ensemble timetable for details, and to give you an idea of what is on offer. Students can apply for membership to the ensembles by contacting the music centre. Please note, this is a provisional timetable and may be subject to change by Amersham music centre.
