There will be occasions during the year when your child’s learning can be enhanced through an offsite visit during normal school hours. You will be notified when these take place but it is not necessary to ask for your consent. You may be asked for a contribution towards the cost if appropriate.
We believe strongly that children benefit educationally and socially from spending time together on residential visits. We give all children the opportunity to take part in several visits during their time at school. These have to be funded from parental contributions. If this proves to be difficult, you are invited to discuss the matter with the head teacher in complete confidence.
Woodside purchases the standard school visits insurance policy via Bucks County Council. We buy an annual cover that runs from 01 April - 31 March each year. We have attached this years policy and summary of benefits below
